From The Tablet
The Society of Saint Pius X said this week it had declined to use Pope Benedict XVI's re-working of the Tridentine Rite Good Friday prayer, issued for last Easter. The prayer took a softer tone with regard to the Jews than its sixteenth-century antecedent. Pope Benedict's prayer asks that Jews may "acknowledge Jesus Christ is the Saviour of all men". The original prayer from the Tridentine service calls the Jews "perfidious" and accuses them of being blind. The SSPX in Britain also used the older prayer.
